Information processed

• GoPic may process account information (email, login identifier), profile settings, app version, device and language settings, scan count records, Premium entitlement status, and support inquiries.
• When available, location context such as coordinates, local area name, language, or country settings may be processed to improve regional search quality.
• Photos and related request information may be transmitted to and processed by external AI or related processing services to provide image analysis and search features. Processing by those external services may be subject to each provider’s privacy policy and terms of use.

Purpose

Information is used for account management, login, scan opportunity management, search features, error response, security, abuse prevention, support, and service improvement.

Retention and deletion

• When account deletion is requested, use of the service is restricted, and the account can be recovered for 7 days from the date of the request.
• After the window, general account and profile information is deleted or anonymized.
• Minimum records required for legal compliance, dispute handling, security, and abuse prevention may be retained under applicable law and internal controls.

Third-party services

• GoPic may use necessary third-party services, including Supabase, Apple, Google, and external AI or cloud processing services, for authentication, data storage, image analysis, and search connection.
• When users move to Google search results, the query and external service use may be subject to Google policies.

User rights

• To the extent permitted by applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing, data portability, and withdrawal of consent regarding their personal information.
• Users in the EU/EEA, UK, Switzerland, or other applicable jurisdictions may lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.
• Requests may be sent to info@gopic.app, and identity verification may be required.

Legal bases for processing

GoPic may process information based on contract performance for providing the service and managing accounts, legitimate interests for security, abuse prevention, and service improvement, legal obligations where required by law, and consent where consent is required for optional features or marketing.

International transfers

• GoPic may use external services and cloud infrastructure, including Supabase, Apple, Google, and providers of external AI or cloud processing services, and information may be processed outside the user’s country of residence.
• Where an international transfer occurs, GoPic endeavors to apply appropriate safeguards and contractual controls required by applicable data protection laws.
